Whether they’re made of paraffin or beeswax, candles hold no secrets for Maffles Manatee.

Among his favorites : “Sea Breeze,” whose scent gives him the comforting feeling of being at home, and “Cotton Candy,” whose sweet smell alone is enough to delight him, even though he’s never tasted it.

But for some time now, Maffles has been thinking big. Really big, in fact. In secret, he’s been experimenting with Bunny Luna on a daring project: underwater candles ! And, if the rumors are to be believed, they’re on the verge of a historic breakthrough. Who knows ? Maybe we’ll soon see the ocean floor sparkling with a thousand lights… even if, for now, those famous waterproof wicks are still giving our dear Maffles a hard time.
